Cookies
Last updated: 23 October 2026This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage Pin Magic uses on pin-magic.com, in the Pin Magic Studio and in the free tools. It supports section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
1. The short version
- We use what the site needs to work: your login session and data saved in your own browser.
- We also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets analytics cookies on your browser.
- We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies, and we do not sell your data.
- Your Studio library stays on your device. You can clear it at any time.
2. What we use
| What | Purpose | Where it lives | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Login session | Keeps you signed in. Set by our authentication provider (Supabase). | Browser storage / cookie | Until you log out or the session expires |
| Studio library and settings | Your saved pins, photos, fonts, templates and preferences in the Studio. | Local storage and IndexedDB in your browser | Until you clear it |
| Demo limit note | Remembers that you used the free homepage preview (one per browser every 24 hours). | Local storage | Until you clear it |
| Device ID | A random ID that ties your account to one device, so the Studio can enforce one account on one device. | Local storage | Until you clear it or we reset your device |
| Interface choices | Small settings such as your current view or whether you closed the offer bar. | Local or session storage | Until you clear it or close the tab |
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Counts visits and page views and shows us how people find and use the site. We use it only to understand and improve the site. | Cookies set on pin-magic.com | Up to 2 years |
The first five items are strictly needed to provide the service you asked for. The Google Analytics cookies are not strictly needed, and you can opt out (see section 5).
3. What we do not use
- Advertising or retargeting cookies, or Google advertising features
- Cross-site tracking or data sold to advertisers
- Social media tracking pixels
We use Google Analytics 4 for analytics only. It is loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz, a tool manager that runs on Cloudflare. We do not use it to build advertising audiences. For details, see how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
4. Third parties
Our authentication provider, Supabase, may set what is needed to keep you signed in. Google Analytics (Google) sets the analytics cookies listed above, and Cloudflare, which delivers the site and loads Google Analytics for us, may set its own security and performance cookies. If you choose a payment method at checkout or sign in with Google, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. We do not control those.
5. Your choices
- Clear data: in your browser settings you can delete cookies, local storage and site data for pin-magic.com. Clearing it signs you out and removes your Studio library from that browser, so export or download anything you want to keep first.
- Opt out of Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block analytics cookies in your browser settings. You can use the whole site without analytics.
- Block cookies: you can block cookies or local storage, but login and the Studio may then not work properly.
- Private mode: data in a private window is removed when you close it.
